Product flow

Capture now. Classify later. Find it again.

Most note apps ask you to organize at the moment of inspiration. dropt splits that job on purpose: one fast write, then sorting when your attention can afford it.

  1. 01

    Drop the thought

Open dropt and write. No notebook picker, no tag prompt, no “what kind of note is this?” The only job at capture is getting the words out before they fade.

  2. 02

    Keep moving

Your moment saves on the device immediately. The app works offline. You can come back hours later — the thought is already safe.

  3. 03

    AI sorts in Moments

When you open Moments, dropt sends saved text to classification in batch. You get open-vocabulary tags and a short label after capture, not during it.

  4. 04

    Browse, search, resurface

Use the tag board, calendar, and search when you need something. Resurfacing quietly brings older moments back so capture is not a black hole.

What dropt deliberately does not do

  • No streaks, guilt badges, or “you haven’t written today.”
  • No AI chat interrupting capture.
  • No end-to-end encryption claim — classification needs readable text.
